We are delighted to announce that AMS (Avon Material Supplies) has successfully secured a strategically important contract with Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole (BCP) Council for various waste management services. This multi-lot contract is a significant achievement for us, showcasing our dedication to providing sustainable and efficient waste management solutions in the local community.
As part of this agreement, we will manage waste from key Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) across Poole, Christchurch, and Longham. The waste will primarily be transported to our Canford site for disposal, with accepted waste types including:
- Inert materials such as rubble and hardcore
- Plate glass
- Engine oil
- UPVC
- Tyres
- Mattresses
- Asbestos
Our experienced team will ensure responsible waste processing in compliance with environmental regulations. Additionally, at the contract’s commencement, we will assist BCP Council by collecting excess waste from each location.
Throughout this partnership, we will also handle some collections from the HWRCs during high-demand periods, highlighting our flexibility and ability to meet our partners’ needs. Our team is prepared to commence work, leveraging our waste management and recycling expertise to support the local community and aid BCP Council in attaining its waste reduction and sustainability objectives.
